Furthermore, our curriculum embeds an understanding of International Human Rights Law relevant to private security, ensuring all actions, particularly in hostile or complex environments, comply with global standards of conduct, emphasizing accountability and adherence to the Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR) to mitigate legal and reputational risk for both the operative and the client. The pathway secures your fundamental certifications with Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) PLUS and the comprehensive First Aid at Work (FAW) PLUS.

Training then culminates in the First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) PLUS certification. This is the mandatory medical standard for all specialist programmes, including Close Protection, providing the gold standard in advanced casualty stabilisation and trauma management. Crucially, we integrate certified operational skills, including Catastrophic Haemorrhage Control (tourniquets/haemostatics) and Tactical Casualty Care Principles, guaranteeing your medical skills are immediately operational in any high-risk environment.

 Candidates receive progressive fire safety qualifications, ensuring your skills meet the highest regulatory and professional standards. The training pathway establishes essential knowledge beginning with the foundational Fire Awareness course, ensuring immediate, correct response protocols are internalised by all personnel. This awareness then sharply advances to the Fire Warden certification, which equips operatives with the legal responsibilities, routine inspection procedures, and preventative risk assessment skills required for workplace safety management. The progression culminates in the Fire Marshal qualification, which trains individuals for higher-level responsibilities, including command-level management of evacuation procedures, liaising with emergency services, safe use of appropriate fire-fighting equipment, and controlling the incident scene until the Fire and Rescue Service arrives.  The programme includes comprehensive firearms training designed for certified weapon proficiency essential for international security roles, delivered by highly qualified UK Weapons Instructors who operate under strict, internationally compliant safety protocols. Training focuses on both pistol and main weapon systems, progressing from fundamental marksmanship and immediate action drills to advanced tactical application, low-light engagement, and force-on-force simulation, guaranteeing proficiency under the pressure of a critical incident. Crucially, this operational dominance is complemented by high-level Counter Improvised Explosive Device (C-IED) training. This vital module provides deep insight into threat recognition, search methodologies, and immediate action procedures, delivered by instructors with extensive experience from UK Defence and Counter-Terrorism institutions. This combined weapons and counter-threat capability ensures our graduates are prepared to detect, deter, and decisively respond to the full spectrum of modern security threats. 

This is a six week Close Protection programme is the definitive route to a high-tier security career, ensuring full compliance with UK SIA Licence requirements whilst delivering training that far exceeds the minimum standard. This immersive course includes mandatory accreditation in Level 3 First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) for advanced casualty stabilisation and features a crucial, internationally compliant two-week Live Fire Package (LFP). During the LFP, graduates achieve certified weapon proficiency using both pistol and main weapon systems, mastering advanced marksmanship and tactical application. You will graduate as a highly sought-after, multi-skilled operative ready for the most demanding armed and unarmed security roles worldwide. 

Our programmes are designed to produce exceptionally well-rounded operatives, integrating a range of specialist and educational qualifications that address critical operational needs beyond core security duties. We embed mastery in navigation skills, leading to an internationally recognised Map Reading qualification that guarantees mission continuity and planning accuracy in any complex or remote terrain. Professional competence in radio communications, protocols, and equipment handling is verified through a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) qualification, ensuring secure, clear, and disciplined comms protocols under pressure. Crucially for remote and hostile environments, the course includes training in HELI EVAC Drills and Helicopter Landing Site (HLS) Selection, ensuring rapid, professional casualty extraction capabilities. Uniquely, to provide maximum career enhancement and value, students enrolled on our longer, continuous programmes are provided with the opportunity to obtain a Maths OR English qualification at the level required for deployment or to meet national standards (e.g., STEM).
