Level 2: Foundational Security Operative

This course prepares graduates for foundational security roles in static or low-risk environments. Operatives master core duties such as access control, patrolling, and conflict management, while also gaining essential qualifications in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) and foundational knowledge of critical threats like IEDs.


  • Designed for: New entrants to the security industry, existing guards seeking formal qualifications, and organisations looking to establish a mandatory, professional baseline for their entire workforce.

Level 2: Foundational Security Operative

This six-week residential course equips graduates to operate in high-risk environments, providing them with advanced tactical and leadership skills. Building on the Level 2 foundation, this curriculum introduces advanced first aid (FREC 3), an introduction to criminal law, supervisor skills, and the legal frameworks for using advanced non-lethal devices and basic weapons systems.


  • Designed for: Experienced operatives seeking career progression, team leaders, and security teams operating in more complex or higher-threat environments.


Full Level 3 Curriculum:

Graduates of this eight-week course become highly skilled operatives capable of performing effectively in hostile or high-stakes scenarios. This elite tier integrates all previous training and focuses on advanced specialisms, teaching the core elements of Close Protection operations, full-range weapons packages, advanced trauma management (FREC 4), and a full drone pilot's course with licensing tests.[if required].

Level 4: Elite Security Operative

Our Close Protection Course provides comprehensive training for individuals seeking to operate as professional bodyguards in high-threat or complex environments. Trainees will develop the essential skills required to plan and deliver effective personal security, including threat and risk assessment, protective surveillance, convoy drills, foot formations, conflict management, and advanced communication techniques. The programme combines classroom instruction with realistic scenario-based training, ensuring graduates are equipped with the knowledge, discipline, and confidence to safeguard clients in both hostile and non-hostile environments.


Weapons Live Fire Package (5–10 Days)
This intensive live fire package is designed to give participants practical experience in the safe handling and tactical application of firearms in protective security operations. Over the course of 5 to 10 days, trainees progress from fundamental marksmanship to advanced live fire drills, including close-quarter shooting, rapid target acquisition, fire and movement, and weapons transitions. Emphasis is placed on safety, accuracy, and the controlled use of force under stress. The package provides a high level of practical exposure, preparing participants to operate confidently and effectively with firearms in dynamic real-world situations.

The Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) course is designed for humanitarian workers, journalists, development staff, and NGO personnel who may be deployed to volatile regions. The programme equips participants with the knowledge and skills to recognise, avoid, and respond to potential threats. Topics include risk and journey management, situational awareness, personal safety, checkpoint procedures, crisis response, and remote first aid. Training is delivered in an accessible and practical manner, with scenario-based exercises that reflect the realities of field operations. Graduates leave prepared to carry out their missions with greater confidence and resilience, while prioritising personal safety and duty of care.
