A Three-Week Residential Course
This programme delivers a full weapons-competency package for security personnel, government-support contractors and private protective teams. The three-week structure provides the time needed to build safe weapon discipline, strong marksmanship, confident manipulation, controlled movement and the professional behaviours required for high-risk operational environments.
Training is centred on safety, judgement and technical accuracy. Learners progress from fundamental handling skills to structured live-fire drills using both primary and secondary weapon systems. Emphasis is placed on accountability, communication and the disciplined application of force within legal and operational frameworks.
Week 1 – Foundations & Standardisation
• Full weapons-safety framework
• Mechanical function, inspection and safe handling
• Loading, unloading, chamber checks
• Zeroing procedures and sight adjustment
• Marksmanship fundamentals
• Static live-fire at close and intermediate ranges
• Basic stoppage recognition
• Positional shooting (standing, kneeling, supported)
• Dry-training for transitions
• Range discipline and safety management
Week 2 – Applied Skills Development
• Progressive accuracy drills
• Controlled pairs and cadence management
• Target transitions (horizontal and vertical)
• Magazine changes – tactical and emergency
• Dynamic use of cover (safety-controlled)
• Live-fire movement (controlled pace)
• Secondary-weapon shooting and transitions
• Low-light principles
• Communication and shooter–buddy coordination
Week 3 – Tactical Integration (Non-Military)
• Complex live-fire lanes
• Multiple-target recognition and discrimination
• Positional transitions under pressure
• Vehicle-in/vehicle-out live-fire safety (static simulation)
• Defensive shooting principles for protective roles
• Escalation-of-force framework
• Weapon maintenance and fault diagnosis
• Final standardisation shoot and assessment
Competencies include:
• Safe, disciplined use of primary and secondary systems
• Accurate shooting at varied distances

Graduates will be competent, safe and reliable operators, ready for roles requiring professional weapons handling and disciplined performance.
A Three-Week Residential Programme
This programme provides private individuals and civilian learners with safe, structured weapons training delivered under strict range regulations. The focus is pure weapons mastery — marksmanship, handling, accuracy, mechanical confidence and safe behaviour — without any tactical drills or operational movement.
Training is progressive and fully compliant with civilian standards. Learners develop confidence through daily range sessions, instructor demonstrations, practical dry-training and steady, controlled progression toward accurate, consistent shooting.
Week 1 – Safe Handling & Fundamentals
• Range-safety framework and legal responsibilities
• Weapon construction and function
• Loading, unloading, chamber checks
• Marksmanship foundations (grip, stance, breathing, trigger control)
• Zeroing and sight alignment
• Static live-fire (short and mid-range)
• Basic stoppage clearing
• Positional shooting (standing, kneeling)
Week 2 – Marksmanship Development
• Accuracy improvement drills
• Controlled cadence and group management
• Target transitions (non-tactical)
• Emergency reloads
• Extended-range live-fire
• Supported positions
• Low-light/torch-assisted shooting principles
• Secondary-weapon fundamentals
• Safety checks and accountability
Week 3 – Applied Shooting Skills
• Live-fire under time constraint (non-tactical stress)
• Positional changes and target recognition
• Advanced stoppage clearance
• Safe weapon handling in confined range spaces
• Final handling assessment
• Full weapon cleaning, maintenance and inspection
• Civilian legal briefing: storage, transport, safe keeping
Competencies include:
• Safe, confident handling of primary and secondary firearms
• Accurate, consistent marksmanship
• Smooth manipulation and reloads
• Clear, disciplined range conduct
• Correct stoppage recognition and clearing
• Confidence handling weapons in controlled environments
• Knowledge of storage, transportation and safety rules
